Writer's Block: So far so good

Book: Turns out I've only read three non-academic books this year (and even those were for school assignments.) That being said, I'll have to assign best book read this year to "The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet" which I am currently reading. The plot is dragging a bit at the moment, but the illustrations are beautiful and I am equally touched and amused as I move through the story.
Movie: Gentlemen Broncos! It finally came out on DVD and we watched in earlier this week. It has all the same dry, bizarre hilarity of Jared Hess' other films, mixed with a satisfying dose of campy sci-fi love.
Song: I know this is a far cry from my usual favorites, but chalk it up to the fact that I've been listening to the radio a lot lately. No time to mess with iPods, you see. Whenever "Telephone" comes on the radio, I have to crank it up and bob my head. Beyonce is a phenomenal musician. Like I said, very different from my usual taste!
