Is anyone planning on seeing or excited about "10,000 BC"? It just doesn't do it for me.
Here's Josh in the ice cave:

It has since collapsed because of the warmer weather. No one mourns its passing. We're all so happy that the weather is in the 40's. Literally, the kids have started praying for spring to get here. Sweet boys o' mine.
Behind the cut you will find a pic of Josh standing by a snow bank, to give you an idea of how high the snow banks have been. Also, the house on our street that burned a few months ago was demolished last week and I took a pic of that. Josh and I walked down to oogle at the destruction for a while. It was cool to see that excavator at work!

Feb. 10th, 2008 10:32 pmI haven't taken the time to update in a few days. Let me see if I have anything significant to share...
-The weather has been in the 40's so the snow is starting to slowly melt. Zack's snow cave collapsed and the streets are continually flooded with water. Even though it is inconvient to have so much mushy-ness everywhere, I can't say that I mind it. I'm looking forward with eagerness to seeing my grass again.
-We rented the latest Jon Heder movie, Moving MacAllister. It was weird, but not in a good way. Not in a Napoleon Dynamite or Nacho Libre way. It was weird in a lame way. I do not recommend it.
-Petey worked so hard all day Saturday on his Valentine cards for his classmates. Initially he tried to make them all from scratch, but that proved too overwhelming, as he puts so much effort and creativity into each card. He did make one for his best buddy though. It's cute.
-Zack is doing much better with his reading. I'm proud of him and I can tell an improvement already!
-Josh has been working hard to learn his letters. He recognizes all the letters in his own name and most of the letters in my name. I'm so proud of him. He's not even four yet! He can also write his name already, much younger than the other boys were when they first wrote.
-I just finished reading "The Woman Warrior." Wow, it was good. Excellent story of how confusing it can be to grow up Chinese in America.
