Zack: "Mom, today we learned about how the Americans broke over 150 treaties with the Indians and the Canadians didn't break even one." (Please keep in mind that Zack has selective hearing. Don't accept what he says as fact, this is purely kid talk. I have no idea if he's right or not, but I wouldn't be surprised.) After a few moments of reflection he said, "I think I really like the Canadians." pause "Is that against my American religion?"

I assurred him it wasn't :) What is his American religion anyway?

Chris' brother has announced his plans to get married in China over the Christmas holidays. I saw on Facebook that their sister updated her status to say she's going to the wedding. I read aloud to Chris "Debbie says she's spending Christmas in China this year."

Petey responded "That'll only ruin her Christmas."

Ack, I scarred my kids by taking them to China. Someday, someday! they will appreciate that adventure. Someday.

Hi! I thought you said you were going to switch blogs; sorry for the silence! I decided "Brothers" wasn't quite for me. I read up until he killed the mean kids and climbed the wall to escape. I have so many books I want to read lately, if a book doesn't grab my attention right off I usually move on to something else :)
