According to all the gossip, the final cylon is revealed in the above photo. As you can see, this is a replica of Da Vinci's "The Last Supper." So, in the original painting, there are 12 disciples and Christ. In this photo, there are only 11 "disciples."

Dee. She's missing. Right next to Lee there is an empty place where she should be, and also in the original painting, this is the spot where Judas was seated.

I can't wait for Friday!!!

When we went to the sci-fi museum we saw an original cylon costume. Coolness.

am I nuts? or do you see something i don't?

back when BSG started- about mid 1rst season- someone told me that BSG was actually an allusion to Mormonism. i kinda got sidetracked and missed tons of episodes, so i can't say if it is or not. i was wondering if you had heard that or had another idea of what BSG might represent.

Yeah, I've heard that too. If I'm not mistaken, the original BSG series was written/started up by a Mormon. There are a few allusions to the Mormon faith, such as the "Quorum of Elders". Also, Kolob is the name Mormons give to the world which God dwells on (in other words, heaven) and as you may recall, Kobol was the world of the gods in BSG. I never watched the original BSG, so I can't really say if there are more similarities. I think if you look up the wikipedia article for the original series, it talks about the Mormonism thing a little more.

I saw an interview with Dee and she says emphatically that she's not a Cylon. Who's the blonde standing next to Roslin?

Ah, it's the Natalie version of Caprica Six. Check out this link: http://io9.com/340986/secrets-of-battlestar-season-four-betrayed-in-new-photo They say that Ron Moore hints strongly that the final cylon is not in this picture. In fact, we're missing another of the final five. Where's Tory? Tory, Anders, Chief, and Tigh are the four of the final five we know about from the end of season 3.

Also, the thing with Dee...they don't have the best marriage, they're linked by marriage but not really linked.

Personally, I think it's Gata. Here's my theory: The resistance on New Caprica was comprised of Tigh, Chief, Anders, and Tory helped via Roslin. Who was the one giving information to the resistance? Gata!

Then again, the word is still out about Starbuck. The first Hybrid from "Razor" says this of the final five: "Soon there will be four, glorious in awakening, struggling with the knowledge of their true selves. The pain of revelation bringing new clarity and in the midst of confusion, he will find her. Enemies brought together by impossible longing. Enemies now joined as one. The way forward at once unthinkable, yet inevitable. And the fifth, still in shadow, will claw toward the light, hungering for redemption that will only come in the howl of terrible suffering."

Its description predicts the internal revelation that four of the Five would experience in "Crossroads, Part II". The fifth Cylon remains hidden, longing to be forgiven for some type of trespass, but will experience suffering in the process.

The first Hybrid also mentions Kara Thrace to Kendra Shaw, claiming, "She is the herald of the apocalypse, the harbinger of death..." as the end of the human race. He warns Shaw that the humans should not follow her (Razor). However, the Hybrid never confirms Thrace's nature.

I cannot wait until tomorrow night. There's no telling if we'll even find out who the final cylon is tomorrow night or right at the end of the season. Ron Moore says that we'll know by the end of the series. Great. *lol*

It's actually another version of Caprica Six who's name is Natalie. I googled last supper bsg and found a really good article about it.

Did you see my theory about Gaeta? Over at battlestar blog we're having a great conversation about the possibility of Gaeta being the One.

then I joked that most likely the final cylon would be John Locke from LOST.

It sounds like you've put a lot more thought into this than I have! Chris thinks it will be Admiral Adama, but as he is in the photo, I don't agree. Gaeta does seem like a likely candidate. We shall see soon enough!! Yay!
