I forgot to mention that it is very rare for school to be canceled due to snow or other weather conditions in Spokane. The last time school was canceled was over 10 years ago, for the great ice storm of 1994.

Luckily, we awoke to a very beautiful, bright blue sunny sky this morning. Yay! We'll be able to get outside and have lots of fun.

I even saw a story and video of Spokane's extreme weather on Fox news. It was pretty with snow piled everywhere.
