Alright, I took the GRE this morning. I scored a 570 on the Verbal and 550 on the Quantitative. The fact that I scored about the same on the math as I did the verbal does scare me a bit. I suck at math and literally guessed at most of the answers. I did try to use my best reasoning skills, but seriously it has been 15 years since I took any sort of geometry. I thought I would do much better on verbal that quantitative.

Hmmm. Well, I'm glad I did it. At the end of the test I had the chance to send my scores to four schools. I have no idea where we will end up next year so I just chose 3 random schools: The Univ of Washington (if we are still here next year), the Univ of Arizona (if we somehow end up back in Tucson) and the Univ of Alabama in Huntsville (that was incase we wind up in Sewanee, but it turns out they don't have a library science school.)

I'm came home to an empty house! I must enjoy the silence.

I don't know anything about the GRE. You got 550 out of what? You were always very good at math in hs, so your good GRE math score doesn't surprise me.

550 out of 800, I think. Not so great, but about average :)

Man, the GRE. I remember sweating that more than I did any test from the high school days. Congrats!
