Again, with the snow! One of the first things Chris did when he got home was lament how awful the weather here is in comparison with the freakishly lovely weather the East coast is having right now. We are all green with jealously of those of you who are picking up pecans in your short sleeves and revealing in your 80 degree weather. You know who you are! Bottle some of that delightful weather up and send it this way. It has been snowing almost non-stop for three days. We may get a break tomorrow but then it starts back up again on Thursday and continues through until Sunday.

Remember back when I couldn't wait to experience my first snow fall? Ah, the sweetness of my ignorance. I think I must have thought that snow would be a one or two time occurrence, not months and months of slushy grossness dirty stuff all over my shoes, car, carpets. My point is, I wasn't viewing snow realistically but rather through rose-colored glasses. Well, I guess we could say those glasses have frosted over :)

Zack's Dr wants me to have his eyes tested. He is also going to call in an RX for something that I'm not familiar with that Zack can take at the onset of a headache. He wants to have a follow up in a couple months. All in all, I'm happy with how the appointment went. Why did it never occur to me to have his eyes tested? Seems like I would have thought of that one.

What is the name of the prescription? I wonder if it is specifically for kids or just a smaller adult med. I take Midrin for mine along with Excedrin for Migraines.

We've had a lot of severe weather here with a tornado touching down on the west side of town last night. As much as I love severe weather, I'd take some of that snow. :)

Hey Tina,
It was 28 degrees here last week in Ocala and felt like 19. It hailed in FWB on Christmas day.
I know what you mean about the snow though. I miss it but, a couple of weeks is enough for me! I especially don't like driving on the snow.
Keep us posted on things!

*ROFL* Mike says, "Tired of the snow is she?" I don't read your entries to him, but this one I had to because this was exactly us when we first lived in Pennsylvania *lol*. We both had a good chuckle over your "Again with the snow!" I guess you are a G.R.I.T. just like me (Girls Raised In The South).

Do you remember that episode of LOST when Sawyer (sigh, Saaawwwwwyer) thought he was having a brain tumor and it turned out to be his eyes? Hopefully it is just that Zack needs glasses and not migraines after all. Migraines would just be so awful for kids I would think. Poor kiddo. Keep us posted.

I had forgotten about that episode with Sawyer! Chris has awful eyesight so this could raise the chances of Zack having problems as well. He's been tested at school several times, but the doc says he should still have the full work up.

i used to think that the screenings at school were fine but after I read up on it after Nins had her first one, I found out I was wrong. They only catch it if the problem is bad.

But yes that would be a reason for him to be having them. I didn't even think of that.
