This is an exemplary critique of WW through a Brechtian lens! Not only is it well conceived and researched, it is masterfully executed. The introduction concisely frames the problem addressed and the ensuing argument is pursued through masterfully interlocking paragraphs, each developed with purposefully presented evidence and precisely drawn inferences. With your permission, I would love to add this essay to my file of model essays. Well done!
I'm so happy!! I was nervous that I used too much "history" in analyzing the text, and not enough literature. This really restores my self confidence. After the initial C I received on my first paper, I was afraid that I had just lost my knack with literature. I thought perhaps I'd become too immersed in history to sense the delicacies of literature :) Also, I was afraid that she'd view WW as "too easy", and tell me that I should have analyzed something deeper. Yay!!
