I just want to document something so I never forget it: When I was sick earlier this week, Chris was wonderful. He got up early (not something he excels at), fed the kids breakfast, got them dressed, etc. AND all without complaint. He was so sweet and caring the whole time.
I love that man.

Date: 2007-02-27 09:47 pm (UTC)Glad Chris was there when needed. I don't think the husbands understand how important it is to be involved like this. Yet another reason we'll not have kids: When I'm sick I'm down. I don't get up, I refuse to get up. If Mike didn't do the things that needed to be done when I am sick it just wouldn't get done. He's let the cats go hungry because he just assumed since I was home and sick I could do it. Nope, buddy, your the cat daddy, and I am sick. Your turn. Why do men just assume that the woman, the wife, the mom is going to take care of everything all the time? I'm still trying to get Mike to understand that just because he thinks he's busier than me doesn't mean it's so. Drives me nuts.
