Zack lost his other front tooth. It's so cute! Now he lisps when he says anything with "th" or "s". I love it. I keep asking him say things, just so I can watch his tongue poke through the hole in his teeth.

The sign out front. Nanjing is such a colorful city at night. Very beautiful. But, like the noise on the ears, a bit too much stimulation for the eyes.

The room we ate in was simply beautiful. The resturant has 100 private rooms. Our room not only had the two huge tables, but also a private restroom as well as a tv...which was on the whole time. Once again, noise for no reason.

The head is still on this chicken.

And here is the infamous sushi platter from which I bravely ate the octopus. Isn't it beautiful?

Chris captured this precious moment of the boys hanging out together. They aren't fighting, wrestling or plugged inte electronics. They are simply reading and enjoying each others company. It's so sweet. Uh, notice that green stuff in Connor's mouth? Yeah, that's a wad of gum. He's discovered and fallen in love with gum lately.

Date: 2006-08-21 02:33 pm (UTC)I love the restaurant pictures. It all looked so pretty, even the sushi platter (I only like vegetable sushi when I eat sushi at all). So pretty. Would it have been considered rude to turn the TV off during the dinner?
Man, what an adventure you are on. Seriously, I am so excited for you and all the things you are trying. I think its really awesome that you did try the octopus even though it made you sick. At least you did it!
