Nov. 20th, 2007 09:47 amI've finished my paper on the Taiwan Straits Crisis of 1958. I turned it in 8 days late. Fortunately I have a very kind and understanding professor in this class.

pearlgirl8's visit. I 'm so excited your coming!! I have all these great ideas about stuff we can do while you're here!
-go to a Christmas tree farm and cut down our tree. We haven't had a real tree in years so I really want to do this.
-go to the River Front park and ride the 100 year old antique carosel. Are you too old to ride a carosel? If so, we can let the kids do it. They also have a free horse and carriage ride that would be fun.
-go to the movies and see "Enchanted". I know, it's a kids movie, but I never get to do girly things like this. If I don't go see it with you, I'll never have an excuse to see it!
-and of course, cook, cook, cook!! I may do a pie or two today to get a head start on the baking.
