ER happenings

While we were sitting around in the ER, waiting to be discharged, the paramedics brought a teen girl in on a stretcher. She had on nothing but a gold bikini--it was 7:30 in the morning at this point.
From eavesdropping on the nurse/paramedic/policeman conversation outside her room, we were able to learn this about her situation:
The police had stopped a car on a routine traffic violation. There were two men and this girl in the car. The men were sober, the girl completely drugged out of her mind. She could barely string a sentence together. Her parents had reported her missing the night before. Everyone suspected that she'd been given something in her water, as she said the only thing she had to drink that night was water. She was only 16. The men she was with were taken into custody.
Scary, scary world we live in sometimes. How random, wonderfully random that the police stopped the car and found her. I hope she's ok.
