Tomorrow is the big day, the day all the interns have been working towards since day one. Tomorrow is the day we display our projects and show to all the world what we've been working on all summer. We had a practice run today which gave me a taste of what tomorrow will be like. I was asked a couple of questions which I didn't know the answer to. I was able to research those questions later, so I'll be prepared for tomorrow if anyone asks them, but I'm sure I'll hear many more tomorrow that I won't be able to answer. I'll need to come up with pat answers like "Wow, what a fascinating question!" or "Is that a rabbit over there?" One of the points that has been stressed to us repeatedly is that we are the curators for our collection and we need to protect it as such. In other words, do not let onlookers touch the items we're displaying. Easier said than done! I had several interns reach out and stroke the Kammavacca manuscript today (heehee,...stroke...) I can hardly blame them, it is quite beautiful. But if these people, who actually know better, couldn't resist then what will have to face tomorrow? Despite these worries, I'm really looking forward to it. Clint and Clara are both coming which is so awesome of them. They've been my most enthusiastic supporters while I've been here. I'm bummed that Chris or other family members won't be attending, but such is life.

Also, in other Library related news, I applied for a job at the Library today. I know it is a loooooong shot, but why not try?

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with ticklethepear tonight. I'm going to miss you!!

It's 11:52 a.m. on the day of your unveiling and I'm thinking about you. I know that you're going to do really well (bunny? where?). Hopefully someone will take some pictures so that we can see the set up.
