lizzybennetI know some of you will have seen these on Facebook, but here they are again for those of you who didn't:
Lunch in Chinatown. Dumplings and noodle soup, my two favorite dishes from the China days. Mmmmm .....
I had my camera on macro, thus the first few pics turned out blurry. Whoops. But, here it is. The closest I'll get to meeting Barack.
Andrew Jackson. For some reason, this portrayal really surprised me. I thought he looked different, less David-Tennant-as-Doctor-Who-ish.
They view from the courtyard. A lovely place to sit and chat.

We really did have a great time visiting. I'm going to miss my new friends when I leave DC. I hope I can find a way to come back often, if not for good.
After the lunch we parted ways I went to see (500) Days of Summer. I loved it! Not only is it a good story, but it's just so well done with unique bits of cinematography thrown in. Of course, the soundtrack was quite neat as well.
