Crazy busy day yesterday. We dragged the kids around on errand after errand for close to three hours. Later that night, as I was talking to Chris about the fact that we still need to buy school supplies and clothes, Petey yelled from the other room "I am not, I repeat NOT, going on errands again tomorrow!!!" Too bad, *insert evil laugh here*

We went to check out the YMCA for ourselves and it was pretty cool. Wendi, this lazy river wasn't really "lazy." It was more like swift river, and in the center there was a whirlpool. Naturally my kids loved the whirlpool and wanted to spend all their time there. I couldn't let Josh or Petey in there unsupervised because they aren't strong enough swimmers to handle that strong current on their own. Let's just say I was nauseous by the time we left from being spun around and around so often. Other than that I had a great time.

I'm getting my hair cut today. Woo-hoo! Shall we do before and after pictures? Also, I'm hoping we can go see "Clone Wars." Wheee! It's so fun not to be broke anymore :)

I often say this to Mike about grocery shopping, a chore I hate as much if not more than washing dishes.

Man, a swift lazy river? Does it wind around and then end up in the whirlpool or was it just in the whirlpool the whole time? I don't think I'd deal with the whirlpool, anything that spins makes me nauseous now. blech...dang it. I need to go swimming. I probably should wait until I feel better, no?

What happened with the hair? Before and Afters, please!

Well, it turned out to be just a trim. I didn't take a before picture. The after pic did turn out well. She teased up the back! I guess to give it more volume or something? I thought that look had gone out years ago...although I have seen much more teased hair here than I've seen in years. So, although I love the cut when I fix it myself, I didn't really want to post an "after" pic with the way she fixed it. I'll think about it :)

I have a diffuser hair dryer - it has this attachment on the end with these prong things sticking out of it. If I flip my head upside down and blow dry it with the diffuser I get some body, baby. Big fluffy hair and then I walk outside into the humidity and it dies. *lol*

The swift-lazy river goes around, and the whirlpool is in the middle, but you have to sort of exit the river to get into it. It's canaled off, I guess you could say. I found out that they do an aquasize class in the lazy river. I think that would really give you a great work out, having to work against that current for a half hour!

Oh wow, now that would be awesome! My friend in North Dakota does water aerobics and loves it. I would totally do an aquasize class. The only place around here that offers it is the gym and I'm not paying that much money to use their pool.
