Regardless - must be so great to have him back! (At least he didn't turn on ESPN.)

It didn't bother me; I almost washed it for him but decided he'd enjoy doing it himself once he got home. I was right :)

Daddy's Home!

Well, did he hug you and kiss the Jeep or kiss you and hug the Jeep? Don't worry. Its not a serious or enduring relationship like yours and Chris'. Keep in mind that the difference is that he will consider replacing only the Jeep when it gets too many miles on it. Things do not last but people do! Remember also, a woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument! One last thought for Chris: If your wife demands that you take her somewhere expensive, take her to a gas station! Who is that little monkey eying the bananas? Bill

That's Josh! Isn't he getting big? I'm not threatened by his love for his Jeep:) I knew he'd want to wash it straight away, which is why I didn't do it for him before he got home :)

Jeep

Yeah, the Jeep has its advantages. You don't have to share one car , which sometimes is not even practical in these times. Also, one can go almost anywhere even in the worst of winter snows in a 4 wheel drive Jeep. " A thing of beauty is a joy forever." I wish I still had my 69 VW Bug which I bought new in Pittsfield Mass for a mere 2050.00 dollars. That was money I saved in Vietnam! It was more than 1/3 of a years pay for the average family back then. There were gas wars and they gave away dinnerware with a fill up at 29 cents a gallon! Our rent on a large two-bedroom apt. was 50.00 a month and cable TV was the flat wire from your roof-top antenna going to your B&W TV! Bill

' Oh the way Glenn Miller played ( not quite). Guys like us we had it made. Those were the days!" Where we lived looked like Archie Bunkers old neighborhood. I think I could have been living next door to old Archie and Edith.
