I just received a grade on my mid-term literature paper. She gave me full marks!! 15 out of 15 points. I am just blown away. Particularly because I put the finishing touches on that paper as Josh crawled all over me.

My professors remarks: Tina, this is a great essay analyzing the narrator’s struggle over identity in Kingston’s book. I really like the way you address her bicultural heritage with a focus on her mother’s strong influence as well as the community values. You write well and the essay flows smoothly. Well done!

Woot!! This really makes the stress of the day seem to fall away from my shoulders.

lol, well, I sure didn't appreciate it at the time, but now I'm so thankful for all the time and effort my dad put into teaching me writing skills. I know it was frustrating for him, but he never gave up on me :)
