no skeletons in my closet

lizzybennetI cleaned out my bedroom closet yesterday. It was such a mess that I couldn't see the floor, much less go into it and walk around. I spent about an hour yesterday cleaning it out and now it is beautiful. I'm so proud of it. I moved all our shoes off the floor and up onto a shelf. I now have a place for my wrapping paper box and scrapbook supplies box. Also, buried under everything I found two bags of toys. I had forgotten I'd put them in there to sort through them. That was months ago. I am so tempted to just get rid of them. The boys haven't missed them at all. I'm still deciding. I also have a bag of stuff to take to Bookman's to trade (I'm hoping to find a good copy of Gone with the Wind there), and I have three garbage bags full of stuff to donate to Deseret Industries thrift store. I love simplifying.

Date: 2005-07-21 08:11 pm (UTC)Ugh...I need to clean out the closet in our office. I'm pretty much done cleaning the rest of the house although it doesn't much look like it. I know, what an oxymoron right?
Anyway, on Friday I'm gonna straighten up the rest of the house so that on Sunday, while Mike's working all day I can concentrate on the laundry room and on the office.
Inspire me please?
