I have a bunch of random pics to share. Roses, art, sleeping boys, and fingernail polish.

This was Saturday when Chris was car shopping. Josh fell asleep and I tried to photograph the sun shining through his ear. Silly maybe, but I was quite bored.

Zack kept himself busy watching Spongebob during the car shopping.

I have three or four rose bushes planted around our new house. I love roses. Before I moved out of my parents' home, I had planted several bushes under my bedroom window. This is the first time since then (10 years!) I've had roses.
Wendi said she wanted to see some of my Chinese art work, so here are some pics of how I've attempted to decorate the house.

This is my computer desk. Each of the three sections represents a period of time in my life. First, my time in Florida and Alabama. These are teacups that I inherited from my great-grandmother. Second is our time in Tucson, with some lizards and a turtle we picked up in Nogales. Lastly is a teapot and cup we picked up in China.

A close up of the Chinese teacup. The teapot pic didn't turn out, but it is really an awesome work of art. The lid doesn't come off, the water is put in through the bottom. It's called a magic teapot.

This is a thin slice of rock that looks like misty mountains. We got it in Dali, where they specialize in such artwork.

This is an embroidered patch worn by scholar officials back during the pre-communist days of China. We have three of these (a dragon, a crane and a tiger), although they are probably reproductions as the officials were usually buried with their robes on. Chris digs these :)
I painted my fingernails today. They desperately needed it. btw, I just cut them on Saturday after the cleaning incident. I couldn't stand the thought of rouge germs hiding out under there.
