Happy Mother's Day

I have had a wonderous Mother's Day. Chris made me french toast stuffed with strawberries and cream cheese. It was delicious, made more so by the fact that he spent so much time on it. He had to prepare it last night and let it soak overnight. That amount of effort is priceless, in my book. Zack made me a handprint in art and it is beautiful. Pete made me a picture holder and it is beautiful too. The whole world is beautiful! I'm a mom and I love it! Also, Chris got me Jan Karon's "Mitford Cookbook and Kitchen Reader", which I have been wanting for quite a while. I always look for it when I go to the used bookstore but have never seen it there. It is a beautiful book , full of recipes, pictures, stories and uplifting thoughts. I feel so blessed today. Not for the "stuff" I got, but for the wonderful love that my dear family gives me each and every day.
Zack's handprint, now hanging in a place of prominence. I did get to help him make it, since they go to art on the days that I'm a mom helper.
Pete's picture holder. He's not quite figured out that he made this for me, and I keep finding it back in his room. That's cool, too.
A card Zack made for me.
The scrumptious breakfast that Chris made me.
