Dogs

Don't they eat dogs in China? I hear Chows are much relished in Korea. Of course they would eat anything in Korea right now. My co-worker at Cox has a Thai wife. Every once in awhile there would be trouble with the neighbor's dog and she would shout to her in the next yard: " I eat your dog!. This seemed to work somewhat. My friend told me that , of course, his wife did not eat dog , but the neighbor who was not asian didn't know that. Perhaps the phrase ' speak softly and carry a big stick ' may work. Either that or is there such things as 'dog whisperers'? There is also the Sycilian approach I remembered from one who shall remain nameless. The neighbors had problems with our little dog and made a threat to which she replied " if anything happens to our dog you better not grow to fond of your own dog" They stood there agape , not knowing how to reply. Perhaps this is the " Sopranos' method in dealing with dog problems. Perhaps you could just bribe her with a few RMB to watch her dog, telling her that she wouldn't want it shot like the other one. Well, I'm dog tired and will go to bed without any further barking or whimpering. Bill
