Our Internet is still disconnected. Turns out that our landlord has to go in person to the Internet company's office to have it reconnected. She's in Shanghai right now, and won't be back any time soon. Also, the fact that we are moving out this weekend made the whole thing seem unimportant...TO THEM...not to me! I've become quite grouchy over the past few days. Can I blame it on Internet withdrawls? Perhaps...but I have a sneaky suspicion that if we were to look back at my LJ entry 28 days ago, I was also quite grouchy then, too. :)

So, what have been up to over the past week? We traveled to Beijing and back. We walked on the Great Wall and saw the Summer Palace. We rode the train back and spent two days recouperating from the trip. I started packing for our move. There has been a lot of inter-office drama about the upcoming move. Tell me honestly, can you imagine living in the same apartment building as all the people you work with? It promises to be a unique experience, to say the least. Let's just pray everyone keeps things civil. For the most part we are all friends, so I think we can make this work.

I'm really behind on my school work, so I must get to it. I hope you are all well.

UGH!!! I couldn't imagine living in the same apartment complex as everyone else I worked with! Talk about "bringing work home with you" - it would be much harder for me to find a distinction between personal and work life. :oP

I agree. I think you guys are going to need personal time away from everyone else. Walks in the evening, day trips on the weekends, something.

I can't imagine living with my coworkers. I guess it would be all right the way you guys are doing it, with it being for a limited time. But it would be awful to have consider permanently living with any of them.
