In 23 minutes I will be undergoing my first ever root canal. I'm a wee bit nervous.

Home from the dentist. Owwiee!! The procedure itself didn't actually hurt, but now I am in serious pain all around that area. One of my nerves was angled in a difficult position, plus it spiraled around and he had a heck of a time trying to get at it. He actually didn't get the whole thing, just leaving the tip in there along with THE TIP OF ONE OF HIS FILES! He assured that it was not a problem and that he just was telling me because he felt I should know. I did get a look at the x-ray and the filling for the third nerve was about three times longer than the other two. I don't know what to think.

He gave me Vicodin so I should be feeling better soon. Also, I finally worked up the nerve to ask my pharmacist where he's from. He has such a lovely Southern accent. He's from Georgia. A sign? hmm...
