(no subject)

Chris and I went to see "I Am Legend" today. I loved it (I know at least one of my lj friends hated it, but I still hold firm. It was great!) And, to make the whole experience even more delicious to the sci-fi geek in me, the movie was preceded by all sorts of sci-fi/fantasy teasers. I'm most looking forward to "Prince Caspian" and "Jumper." We also watched "The Simpson Movie" last night, and will be watching "Stardust" tonight. Movie overload? Yup.

I went to wal-mart this morning and purchased all sorts of crafty items: glitter glue, pompoms, craft glue, yarn, Popsicle sticks, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners. We made reindeer out of handprints, but the crafting didn't stop there. Petey has been creating all day long. I'm glad. I don't want them watching tv the whole winter break.

Of course, paragraph #2 stands in stark contrast to paragraph #1 :)
