Dec. 17th, 2006 12:16 amWe are here! I've figured that since we boarded the plane in Shanghai, we've been traveling for 24 hours. I feel exhausted in every sense of the word. We are all completely screwed up with our sleeping schedule. It's after midnight and the boys are wide awake. They did sleep some on the trip, but I hardly got to sleep at all. I think this trip was harder than the initial trip over. I've decided the difference is that we were already on the Western side of the country when we left, and this time we had to fly all the way to the Eastern side. It made the trip seem so much longer.
When we got to the airport, Chris' mom and sister were waiting for us. Petey promptly proceeded to talk nonstop for the next half hour. He had so much to tell them! Zack and Connor were very chatty too. Of course, Margaret took it gracefully. After we said good-bye to them (they brought the vehicle we'll be using to the airport) we drove ourselves to Bill's house. He had lovely brunswick stew and homemade pecan pie waiting for us. It was so wonderfully scrumptious.
Now, I need to try and sleep. I feel drained in everyway possible.
