Connor has a fever now, to accompany his cough. I'll be taking him to the dr. first thing in the morning. He's been up and down all night, which is why I am wide awake at such an early hour. Hopefully I'll be able to find someone to babysit the other boys so I don't have to take all three of them with me to the clinic.

I haven't been to it yet, but our dr.'s office is the SOS Clinic. It is a "western" clinic, with dr.s from Europe. I've been told everyone there speaks English. We were suppose to register there last month, but it never happened with everything that had to be done before the students arrived. Sailing has to go with us to pay the registration fees, which are in the thousands of yuan. I'll call her in the morning and hopefully she can accompany me so I don't have to pay the registration fee myself. Of course, we'd be reimbursed but still that's a lot of money for us to hand over out of pocket.

I just tried to get Connor to take some Tylenol but he refuses. When I said "Just taste it. It taste good." He said "No, you taste it!" It's so cute to hear him speaking in full sentances now. Petey has a cough too and earlier tonight when I asked him if he'd like some cough medicine he said "No, I'll just pray instead." My kids are so anti-medicine. But at least they have faith :)

Connor is ok; he just has a respitory virus. The dr. gave him cough syrup (with coedine!) and Tylenol cough and cold. Actually, I left there with a sack full of medicine. He also gave me Bactroban (antibiotic ointment), 2 bottles of antibiotics (just in case) and an anti-diaherretic for the boys. Since this was my first visit, he just wanted to load me up with the necessities, apparently. He said he always gives his new moms antibiotics to have on hand. That way, if one of the kids wakes up in the middle of the night with a fever and pulling on their ear (clear signs of an ear infection), I can start them on the antibiotic with out having to go in to see him. The clinic is open 24 hours a day, but there are only 2 doctors. He said he has to give out antibiotics like this or else he'd be working non-stop.

I asked him about getting another Cortisone shot for my foot (it has been hurting lately) and he said he'd recommend acupuncture instead. That's something to think about...

Chris is home!!
