Movie pass
Jul. 3rd, 2006 10:07 pmThe Blue Butterfly - about a boy with terminal cancer whose last wish is to travel to a rain forest and see his favorite blue butterfly. He convinces a world renowned entomologist to take him. We watched this with the kids. Petey fell asleep, Zack watched it and loved all the lizards, snakes and bugs that he got to see. Connor climbed all over everyone. I liked it because it's based on a true story.
Failure to Launch - I didn't expect to like this. Maybe there is something fundamentally wrong with me, but I just do not find Matthew McConaughey attractive. Frankly, he gets on my nerves. Sara Jessica Parker isn't very high on my favorite list either. However, I did enjoy the film much more than I expected thanks to the hilarious supporting cast.
Christmas with the Kranks - another film to watch with the kids. Entertaining, that's about it. I wanted to watch it because I did enjoy the book ("Skipping Christmas").
Tell me your favorite movies. I'd like to watch some new things that I wouldn't normally think to check out. Keep in mind that I don't watched rated-R movies. Thanks for your input :)
