(no subject)

One of my homeschooling math books came in today. It looks perfect, explaining every little step :"Point to this and now say this. Pick up this and show it to the child. Now say this." Just what I need. It looks like I need to purchase the manipulative set after all. I thought I could get away with using household items, but the book (of course!) is somewhat vague as to what you need. For example in lesson one we use the pattern blocks. Well, what exactly are pattern blocks? Maybe I'll go to the educational store and look at it first hand. Perhaps I can figure it out and not need to buy it.
