Internet withdrawls
Jun. 13th, 2005 10:58 amLately, each time I get on the internet I feel as if I'm getting a fix. I had no idea I was so reliant on the web. I can't balance my check book, find anyone's phone number or keep in touch with all my loved ones with out it! I'm at the library again. I'm having difficulties trying to get my own laptop hooked up to my parents dial up connection. It seems the modem in my laptop was never enabled. Ignorant sap that I am, I have no idea what to do about this problem. My tech support is half way around the world, gallivanting around China. Thankfully, I still have his brilliant brothers to help me out and with their assistance I hope to have my laptop on line by tonight. We shall see.
The boys are finally settling down today. Petey has been "on" non stop. He's running around as if he has a bee up his behind. He just can't be still or chill out. Today he seems to be more back to normal. Zack and Connor are feeling better today too. It is so hard on kids when they travel.
Last night Zack got burned on the cheek by a sparkler. We were playing with them in the backyard and he flung some ashes on to his cheek. It didn't leave a blister, but he does have a small red burn. Later that night, he was trying to be brave and use the sparklers again. He was still freaked out though, and kept throwing them down. He ended up throwing one onto his cousins foot. She screamed bloody murder and she did end up with a blister. The whole thing was a disaster.
I'm going to visit my Grandparents today. It is so nice to be home. We survived the tropical storm but got lots of rain. That was a nice change.
