Dreams

Last night I dreamed that I was visiting with Chris' mom and all his siblings. He wasn't there. His mom was taking us for a walk on the beach, to a beautiful spot I had never seen before. Chris' sisters and I were dressed in long, flowing dresses. It was a comforting dream, but also filled with longing. I wished Chris was there with us. After the beach walk, it turned weird. I was in a hospital doing clinicals for some type of training. I couldn't find anyone to tell me what I was suppose to be doing, so I went up a floor and looked for something to do. I ended up in a burn unit full of children. I noticed that one of the boys, probably 3 years old, was having a seizure and no one was paying attention. He had curly white blonde hair, and his skin was bright red from his burn injuries. After his seizure was under control, I picked him up and held him like a baby. Like I said, it was a strange dream and left me feeling unsettled.

In other news, today is our 8 year anniversary. Chris is going to call me tonight and this will be the first time we've talked in over a week. I can't believe we've been married for 8 years!
