Paper is done!
Apr. 24th, 2005 04:56 pmI just turned in my paper on the Vietnam war. I feel it is my worst work yet. I just felt tired of this subject, especially with the hassle I had to go through with the prof. over the book. I was able to type over 3 pages on it, so hopefully I manage a B at least. The book I ended up reading, "The Courageous and the Proud" was very good. I'm glad a had a chance to learn so much about this subject, but I'm also glad this assignment is over. Only two weeks of school left, thankfully. I am going to use this summer to read for fun. I've already started my list: The Magic of Ordinary Days, Gone with the Wind, the Last of the Mohicans, just to name a few. Feel free to give me suggestions!
I have two days to finish "Pride and Prejudice" before my book club meeting. No problem.
I messed up on my freecycling. I gave something to the wrong person, and forgot to give something to another person. Its all been worked out now. Sheesh, who knew it would be so much trouble to give stuff away!
Church today was great. Our Sunday School lesson was about Moms and how awesome we are. I raised my hand to make a comment and started bawling in the middle of it. As a result, I came across as seeming upset instead of happy (those were joyful tears, not sad tears.) People kept trying to comfort me the rest of the day. I thought it was a little comical.
