I have a dry socket.

I'll spare you the details, but that was the most painful dental experience I've ever had. I almost kicked the dentist. Literally

Thanks :) I'm feeling much better now that I've calmed down and the pain from the procedure has subsided.

I *may* have been a little over dramatic. Maybe.

He washed out the area with a syringe (that's when i felt the initial shock of pain). He numbed up the area and then put a small medicated gauze in the socket. it hurt like craziness when he put the gauze in, but now I'm feeling way better. I think the med is working already.
