Books I've read so far this year

12. The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus. This book was a nice fluffy read...as a mom it made me a tad bit sad, but it was entertaining none the less.

13. Summer of the Monkeys by Wilson Rawls. This was my book club read this month. I loved it! Just as Rawls wrote "Where the Red Fern Grows" for a younger audience, this book was also geared towards the same group. However, I'm glad I am reading it for the first time as an adult, because I know I appreciated it much more. I laughed all the way through it. Great fun!

I loved The Mitford series books. There is so much about them I can relate to working at the church. Sadly there are things that I relate to too much - the Mitford secretary and I - well...we share similarities that I don't inted to share with anyone. It's just too embarrassing *lol*

lol -- when you first told me you were a church secretary, I thought of Emma straight away. I love the Mitford series, too. So uplifting!
