Now that you have a better understanding of my beliefs, maybe you see why I'm so defensive of my decisions to become a mother so early in life. Thanks for the compliments :) but most of that is not my writing. I really did take a great deal from the talk by this amazing woman named Sherri Dew. She's a well-known woman in our church who has never married or had children, yet who has a great deal of respect for the role of women as mothers (as can be seen by her words.) I thought she wrote it so well that there was no need for me to add much. She said exactly what I wanted to say.
I'm glad you're having so much fun working with the youth in your church. I'd definitely say you've been called to do it! I can tell that both you and they are benefiting from this work. And yes, you do mother all those around you--your pets, your hubby, your friends and associates. And me :)
