Happy 4th birthday, Josh!!
At one moment today, all three boys were involved in very unique activities, so I took that moment to snap a photo of each one of them. Literally, I took these photos seconds from each other. This is just a glimpse into the madhouse that my home sometime can be!
We'll start with Zack. The Pinewood Derby is only one and half weeks away and he has been begging to get started on his car. Now that the interview is behind him, Chris finally feels like he has time to get to work on the best darn derby car every built. Here is Zack, patiently sawing away at his little block of wood-to-be-car.

Next we turn to Petey. His teacher sent home a family assignment to build a leprechaun trap. This turned into more of an ordeal that I expected, just because Petey is such a creative kid and really wanted to do an awesome job. He spent hours on this contraption. He literally believe(s/d) that he would catch a leprechaun and that the crafty wee elf would grant his wish for a pet dragon. It's so hard with him to know when he's pretending and when he actually believes something is true. Hopefully he won't be disappointed in the morning. As a kid, there were a lot of fairy tales I believed in, but I don't recall ever thinking I'd actually catch a leprechaun. And, to top it off, he lost a tooth today so the tooth fairy is also visiting our home tonight. At one point, he was like "What if the tooth fairy scares away the leprechaun!!"

Lastly, while all this is going on, Josh is happily sitting on his bike and pretending to ride along. The googles? I don't know. Don't ask me :) Maybe he wants to be safe incase he falls into a pool or gets caught in a sudden downpour?
