lizzybennetYesterday Zack, Kevin the neighbor and I went to the library for some Wizard rock! The Whomping Willow, Jason Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills, and Catchlove were there. It was so awesome!! If you love Harry Potter, you can't help but love the Wizard Rock movement. I'd say that Jason Finch-Fletchley was the most entertaining of the three, but I also liked the Whomping Willow quite a lot as well.
So, it turns out that there is a Wizard Rockumentary coming out and it will be showing here in Spokane. That's awesome! It should be tons of fun.
In other news, everyone in my family is sick except me (even Zack but I asked him to go with me to see the Wizard bands because I didn't want to go by myself). They all stayed home from church today and I went alone to give my talk on the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Because I've been so crazy busy this past week, I relied very heavily on a talk given by a general authority. It worked out rather well. I left church right after to come home and look after the boys. Chris has been in bed since I got home and I haven't heard a peep from him. He really does feel bad, poor guy.
I woke up this morning to two conflicting clocks. I wasn't prepared for the fact that my alarm clock forwards itself one hour at daylight savings. Since when did my clock become more on the ball than I am? The alarm clock said one thing and the stove clock said another and I had no idea who to believe. I had totally forgotten about daylight savings, you see. I eventually decided to believe the alarm clock, as the computer clock backed it up. It was weird for a few minutes there, having no idea what time it was, or why the clocks conflicted each other.
