Of course, we had a grand chuckle about it afterwards. He said "It didn't even occur to me that you might have fallen. I just couldn't conceive why in the world you were laying down there, casual as could be."
My head did hurt for a while afterwards, with some peculiar burning around my ear. It's fine this morning though so no worries :)
