BO

I decided to take the challenge. I bought Secret Platinum deodorant, as it has a 24-hour odor protection guarantee.

So, after a few days it became clear that my sweat glands were more formidable than the deodorant. The challenge was defeated. I now have the option of calling a 1-800 number to get a full refund. But how do I call someone and say "My BO is so strong that your puny, "platinum" strength, strong enough for a man deodorant can't touch it." It is a hollow victory, I can assure you.

I finally worked up the nerve and called the number this morning. Yay! It was an automated system. I'm going to get my refund and I didn't have to talk to a real person :)

And, just so you don't think I am freakishly sweaty and stinky, all my sisters have this same problems. We sometimes consult with each other to see what type of deodorant we are all using, trying to find the "one" that can defeat the problem. I like Arrid XX best, although it is a guys deodorant.

Aren't you glad you know all this about me now? We've just grown closer :)

it is so hard for me to find a deo that works!
i have tried them all...
and i have found that the arrid xx (the original scent, light blue solid) is my fave and it works. it's the only thing i can use! and i actually like the scent.

i have even tried that new secret clinical strength stuff. it works a little...well, it works pretty good on the sweat part, but i find that arrid works best.

Yeah, Arrid XX gets my vote too. I looked for that clinical strength but couldn't find it. I guess it's best to stick with what we know and trust :)

I don't know if this is an issue for me. Mike has no sense of smell unless he's in Yankee Candle or something equally as strong. My mom used to say I smelled bad after I walked home from the busstop, but she said a lot of things.

So I wonder...Anywho, my biggest issue is razor burn/rash after I've shaved the pits and then used sensitive skin deoderant on my pits. Owwwowowowowowowowow OW! Like pouring alcohol on an open wound! And this is a fresh razor and soft, supple skin. It's just 'cause I'm so sensitive.

Hrmm...BO though...I dunno

I feel closer to you too HA!

You could always do a smell check on yourself, lol! No, believe me, if it was an issue, you'd know it. You'd smell yourself. Isn't this a wonderful conversation we are having, ha!

Oh yes, there are days when I can TOTALLY smell myself. And, this is going to sound gross, but I sometimes like it. I know, I'm nuts. But sometimes when I've been out in the sun, I'll smell the skin of my arm and it just smells so good, smells like home. Nice to feel at home in my own body, you know.

I've never found a deodorant that lives up to the claims on the can, either:)

Oh yes you do, we just never had the nerve to tell you!

Kidding, just kidding :)

Holly is actually the one I was thinking of here, lol!

I have that problem just right before that TOM (which I thought I was over but I'm not, thank-you-very-flippin-much). I call it pole cat syndrome, and my daughter hates it when I say that. It's an ungodly thing, it is. Nothing works for me. I just keep my arms down 'til it's over.

(((Hi, Wendi!)))

Holly has been using Degree clinical strength which she likes and says works. Sorry about the problem. Blame it on your Dad!
