We went to a museum here in Spokane last week. There was a shoe exhibit, which I thought was awesome. It has been so fun getting all my shoes out of storage again. I don't know why I thought I only needed to take one pair of tennis shoes to China! I'm so happy to have my Chucks and Etnies back again.
This is the costume, shoes and mouthpeice of a famous acrobat back in the day. She hung from airplanes by her teeth!
These were my favorite shoes in the whole exhibit.

Chucks

Sue the T-Rex is the main reason we went to the Museum. Zack and Petey saw Sue about 5 years ago when we lived in Gainesville and she was on display there. It is still the same display and I have to say that many of the exhibits were looking a bit shabby. However Sue the T-Rex was as amazing as ever. This was Josh's first time and he was properly awe-struck.

Another exhibit in the museum focused on "Old Spokane". I took pics of the medical equipment, as I've always found antiquated medicine fascinating.

A close up of the hand.

Glass eyes. This was particularly funny to Chris and I because we had just watched The Glass Eye the night before.

Hmmm, do you think Breast Tea is made from real Breasts, or meant to enhance them? Maybe made from breast milk? One has to wonder...
I'm bored and hot. We don't have A/C and it's hard for me to feel motivated in the late afternoons when the house heats up. It's not like I'm sweltering, I'm just too warm. I've been spoiled by A/C. It does feel good when a breeze comes in the window though. High today:86, low 56. I really have no right to complain, I suppose.
