I just called the church to tell them we were here and to have them send for our records. The guy who answered the phone is our next door neighbor! His wife is the one that told me how to close my screen door, lol. Wow, that's interesting.

Your church keeps records!? I find that a bit...creepy. We get to ask ministers to write a letter of introduction, which is particularly important if you want to use church-run schools, and the churches maintain records of births, deaths and marriages, but that's about it.
Sounds like you've lucked out with good neighbours, though.

lol, I wouldn't say that it's creepy :) I mean records in the same sense that you do: births, marriages, etc. Our church is highly organized. Every branch is run exactly the same as the others. The church in China is the same as the US as England as Paraguay. All centered out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
