(no subject)

I've never done this before...I'm usually pretty reserved when it comes to making new friends on lj. I generally wait for people to reach out to me but I'm trying to get better about that. The feature "friends of friends" has helped me discover a few new communities that I'm enjoying.

However, the best way I've made friends from day one was through the pimping of themenow. She has pimped my journal like no other! I think it is safe to say that over half of my friends have come to me through her tireless efforts.

In honor of this pimping tradition, I now take the time to do the same. frizbeemom, I've long felt that you and themenow would get along splendidly. I made the same suggestion to her earlier today, and here is my official declaration as such. One of the reasons I've never done the "pimping thing" is that I'm never sure if the friends on my list are looking to meet new people. If you are, and you want me to give you a shout out in my lj, leave a comment. I shall pimp you. I have a very eclectic, if somewhat small, group of friends. You're all awesome, imho. (and I know some of you just rolled your eyes at the sappiness of that comment...)
