(no subject)

In the past 24 hours I have twice missed my turn-off and ended up driving far out of my way to get to where I was headed. Both times have been places I'm utterly familiar with, places I've driven numerous times. Where is my brain? Did I leave it in Portland?

I'm working on a group project for one of my classes, which let me just say that group work via the Internet is not fun or practical. Two of the four members in our group have yet to chime in whatsoever. We have the first installment of our project due in four days.

My backyard is bursting with dandelions which in turn attracts lots of bees. Max is determined to catch a bee in his mouth. I predict he will have his first bee sting by the end of the week.

I'm going to make a strawberry pie this evening. Wish me luck :)
