Apr. 8th, 2009 04:27 pmChris and I spent all day at the boys' school and it was so fun! Today is Junior Engineers day. The University of Utah runs this program, and for one day they lend lots of fun stuff to the school. Each class had a chance to do six different stations. For example, Zack's class did sound waves, construction, Newton's laws and rockets. Petey's teacher asked Chris if he would teach the station (fossils) set up in her classroom. He did an awesome job, if I do say so myself. The kids really liked him and as I sat there watching, I was reminded once again just what a good teacher he is. I spent half the day with Zack's class and the other half with Chris. I think my favorite part of the day was watching Zack shoot off his rocket (a two liter soda bottle, filled with water and shot off with compressed air). He had the biggest grin on his face.
And now, I am quite tired. Quite.
