write, write, write!
Jan. 31st, 2009 10:23 amI check my email and wonder why I never get any livejournal comments any more. Hmmm, maybe because I haven't been writing at all latey? I suppose it is because I'm at a less-exciting-then-usual period in life right now? Things are just chugging along without much out of the ordinary happening.
My classes are fun. I'm enjoying them much more this semester because they all are actually about library sciences. I answered my first Internet Public Library question yesterday. I picked a history question and had so much fun researching it. It took up a large chunk of my day because I wanted to do a really good job with it. Of course, the nerd in me had a grand time with all that history research.
Max had his puppy vaccination yesterday. I was completely unprepared for the side effects of the shot, which included shivers, pain and drowsiness. He yipped when I tried to pick him up. It was so sad :( I'm amazed at how quickly he has become a real part of our family. We were all concerned, but I guess it's normal. When I think back to my real babies, they often had soreness and fevers after receiving their baby shots. He's back to normal today, chasing his tail and trying to leap as high as possible. Next Saturday we're going to the Boise Pug Meetup. I can't wait :)
See, not much going on around here. That's a good thing, right? Yeah. It is.
