I showed up at my voting location around 8:15, just a few minutes after the doors opened. I thought I'd beat the rush, but apparently several other people had the same idea. I had to wait in line for quite a while, spending about 45 minutes waiting for my turn to vote.
I voted for Obama. I voted Republican on all the other candidates, my own small attempt at trying to keep the balance in DC. I did have to laugh at one candidate on the ballot named "Mr. Pro-Life, (the candidate formally known as Marvin Richardson)." That surprised me.
