We found a thrift store today and bought a kid's bike for only ten bucks. Both Petey and Zack learned how to ride it in less than ten minutes. It was amazing! I've always been proud of the fact that I learned to ride a bike in *only* three days. Of course, they are older than I was. Believe it or not this is really the first time we've lived in a place where they could easily learn. In Tucson we lived in an apartment and the parking lot was not the ideal location to learn. In China the only bike we had was adult size and in Spokane our street was somewhat busy (and the boys didn't have bikes.) Here we live on a street that is hardly ever used as a cut through. The only people who drive through here probably live here on this street, which means they use caution. What a nice change!

We went to the College while Chris turned in some paper work. It's a beautiful campus. Also, the farmers are harvesting their wheat today, so that's kinda cool to see all these huge harvesters out in the fields. I really need to start carrying my camera around. Last bit of news: our Spokane landlord already returned our deposit to us. We got the whole thing back. Yay!
