Jan. 9th, 2008 12:43 pmThis will be short as I am having a super busy day:
-the snow is so deep! It's up to my knees and still falling. I was in tears earlier today at the thought of facing more and more snow, however Josh and I got out in it and started building a snow fort which changed my perspective. I'm now looking forward to finishing it and find myself trying to think of ways to put a roof on it.
-I took our kitty to an animal shelter today (Spokanimals). It was tough, but I feel better now that I've finally done it. Sort of like pulling a band-aid off your arm: the dread is worse than the actual act. It was a clean, well run place. I think she will be adopted fairly quickly because she's so beautiful, young and friendly.
Now, I need to eat and go volunteer in Zack's class room, after which I will go to the parent meeting at Josh's school and have a couple hours off before Zack has cub scouts.
