(no subject)

It's snowing again and the snowflakes are so distinctive! I know this picture isn't the highest quality, but I wanted to give you an idea of what the flakes look like. Hopefully this is the type of snow that makes good snowmen!

The neighbor kid just rang the door bell twice. He always rings it twice. Our doorbell is loud and clear...as a bell (groan...) and it is a bit abrasive when its rung more than once. I think he must just like the sound of it, because he rings it even when we have the big door open and can see him clearly through the screen door.

Sorry for that little side rant. I have much to do before I leave at the end of the week for my visit to Melissa. Miles to go before I rest. First on my list is to take my Cold War final exam, and I also need to get my Christmas cards and packages into the mail. I think we're done with our Christmas shopping for the kids, so that's a bit of a relief.

And now to make some cookies for Chris' office party tomorrow. I'm trying a new recipe. Here's hoping it works!
