(no subject)

I fixed the grammatical errors in my paper and added a paragraph expounding on why I felt science fiction is different from main stream fiction. I hope those changes are worth 2 points as that is all it will take to bring me up to a B. I know, that's not really aiming for the stars but whatever. I have a critical essay due in two days on how science fiction is a work of art that provokes audiences to judge their societies. I think I'll use War of the Worlds. I haven't started it yet, but hope to get a good solid start on it tonight.

Petey got his final root canal today. It was capped with a stainless steel crown. He can't get used to the feeling of that crown and has his tongue busy exploring it nonstop. The Valium didn't really seem to do anything for him. He was pretty much as hyper as usual, if not a smidgen more! Even the dental hygienist commented that he seemed unaffected by the Valium. I stayed in the lobby while he had the work done. Petey came out happy as could be. He just didn't seem upset at all by the whole thing. I'm so glad! This is much, much better than last time.

I kept both Josh and Petey home from school today. They always play so well together.
