Could this be the soundtrack from "High School Musical" that my neighbor is listening to quite loudly while he does yard work?

I got Josh enrolled in Headstart today. When I told the counselor that Chris was a college professor, she looked very doubtfully at our tax paperwork, thinking we must make too much to qualify. I told her that we were still in school last year (for half the year) and she said no problem. Still, there is part of me that feels I'm taking a slot away from someone who might need it more. Ah well, I don't feel bad enough to not do it :) Josh is going to benefit so much from being around other kids. He is a Mama's boy through and through ALTHOUGH he has started sleeping in his own bed this week. What a huge step!

I also went to the post office and took back the random objects that were in our China packages. The worker I gave them to was new and she didn't seem to know what to do, or what to think of my story. She just took them and set them down on the floor behind her desk. I wish I could know what happens to the stuff, if it ever gets back to its rightful owners or not.

This evening we went to a nearby park and played tag. I ran after Zack as fast as I could, I mean I was really pushing myself with everything I had. I could not catch him. He's so dang fast. Petey has decided he wants to play ice hockey. I know nothing about the sport, but it seems like it'd be a pretty expensive undertaking. He's never even been on ice skates before. I'm pretty sure this will be a no-go. Soccer sounds like a better option to me.

School starts for the kids in one week. One week!! I'm so excited to have them back in public school. Home school was an adventure and I'm glad I had the experience, but I am SO glad they'll be back in a normal classroom with their peers. They really missed having that aspect of the schooling experience.
